Make it in a pinch to serve with ice cream, cheesecakes, green apples, cakes or other sweet treats. I often like to make a double batch and offer jars wrapped with beautiful ribbons as holiday gifts.

The Perfect Basque Cheesecake
If you love cheesecake, this "burnt" cheesecake is a must try. This is a no crust, creamy cheesecake with a smooth filling. The light sweetness of the cake is complemented by the slightly "burnt" top which adds a beautiful caramel flavour. For best results, prepare it a day ahead and let it rest in the refrigerator overnight (this is the best option, trust me on this) or make sure you have six hours before serving it.
